KIT

Most importantly, the "machines". Tim is on a Specialized Cyclocross/Commuting - bike and Sara rides a simple, but sturdy Trek hybrid.

The tent was a tough decision. In the end we opted for the Terra Nova Superlite Solar 2.2 and are lovin' it. Initial condensation issues were mostly overcome by adequate venting. Best things about it? Well it's superlite and it has his & her porches, which makes packing and unpacking a little less 'hazardous'. Also the entrances are alongside, perfect to enjoy breakfast with a view!

The panniers were a no-brainer and we both have Ortliebs front and back. Great bags, lots space and yep! Completely waterproof. See Tim's bike above. For this trip we also said temporarily goodbye to our beloved Trangia - and we now cook up a storm with an omnifuel, as the name says it burns pretty much everything.

What else? We have 3-4 season,  synthetic , light sleeping bags and therm-a-rests. Apart from that we have tried to keep it as simple as possible. So with everything packed we still have plenty of space for food & water!
